Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries and freight transport
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols during all operations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Optimize delivery routes while maintaining on-time performance metrics
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of Atlanta metro and North Carolina highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
