Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods across San Jose Bay Area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle specialized cargo requiring temperature control or handling protocols
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience (commercial or private)
- Clean MVR and no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and time management skills
