Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and reefers) for local and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with proper equipment and documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and mileage reports
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Minimize delivery delays through efficient route planning
- Represent SwiftHaul with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Basic navigation skills and GPS proficiency
- Flexibility to work weekends and early mornings as needed
