Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles on regional routes within 150-mile radius
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance
- Inspect/secure cargo before departure and verify delivery documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Build customer relationships through professional communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Boston metro area and New England geography
- HAZMAT certification preferred but not required
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning start times (4-5 AM)
