Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within Boston metro area and regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain inventory records
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or issues
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
- Familiarity with Boston area traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
