Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) across multi-state routes
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and document maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with precision and efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes to meet tight delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided)
