Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes within the Pacific Northwest
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all company policies
- Utilize electronic logging systems and GPS navigation efficiently
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for smooth loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and hazmat endorsement preferred
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for on-time deliveries
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
