Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes throughout New England
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently load/unload freight using modern equipment (no-touch preferred)
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology
- Excellent time management and customer service abilities
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
