Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across designated routes while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient load management and delivery timelines
- Ensure proper cargo securement and handling procedures are followed
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding shipment status
- Maintain a clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of federal/state transportation regulations
- Excellent time management and route planning abilities
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for on-road issues
