Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely.
- Maintain accurate logs and records as required by DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) OR willingness to obtain one.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic English reading and communication skills.
