Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods to and from designated locations
- Inspect vehicles to ensure safe operating conditions and report any issues
- Maintain accurate logs of travel, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling
- Communicate with dispatch and clients to ensure timely deliveries
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report major repairs
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B
- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit for extended periods
- Knowledge of Philadelphia area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
