Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for regional routes within California
- Pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Accurate delivery of freight to multiple destinations daily
- Maintain electronic logging compliance (ELD)
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Ensure proper cargo securement and documentation
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of California road regulations
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning start times
- No preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
