Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional deliveries
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS and dispatch guidance
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Document delivery logs and maintain accurate paperwork
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in varied weather
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Knowledge of Denver metro area and mountain passes
- Flexibility for overnight stays and weekend shifts
