Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van/refrigerated) across Texas and Southwest routes
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide excellent customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with logistics team for on-time delivery excellence
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and weather conditions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility for regional routes and occasional overnight stays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent time management and communication skills
