Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods within Los Angeles metro area
- Adhere to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reporting
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving)
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Knowledge of Los Angeles area highways and delivery zones
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb into trucks
- Excellent time management and communication skills
