Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with minimal physical handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate with dispatch via ELD systems
- Represent Daily Pay Logistics with professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year OTR or regional experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat/dry van refrigerated trailers
- Proficient in ELD and GPS navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
