Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional routes
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment usage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections per DOT regulations
- Adapt to changing delivery schedules and routes
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Ensure on-time delivery of temperature-sensitive goods
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- 2+ years recent tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with CA traffic laws and routes
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Smartphone for electronic logging (ELD)
- Flexible availability including weekends
