Responsibilities
- Safely transport students on designated routes following strict schedules
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain a safe and orderly bus environment for all passengers
- Adhere to all traffic laws and district safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Complete accurate daily attendance and incident reports
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with School Bus endorsement
- Minimum 2 years driving experience or willingness to complete paid CDL training
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Excellent driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings and afternoons)
