Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles delivering freight across Ohio and surrounding states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse personnel
- Document delivery details and resolve minor shipment discrepancies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Ohio highway systems and regional routes
