Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end project management lifecycle for core technical infrastructure, including stadium networks and cloud computing solutions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, network architects, and external vendors, to ensure alignment with the 2026 event roadmap.
- Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies for high-availability systems handling millions of concurrent users.
- Oversee the deployment of cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive fan data and broadcast feeds.
- Provide regular status updates to executive stakeholders and international governing bodies.
- Ensure all technical deliverables meet the rigorous standards of global sporting events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in Technical Project Management or Program Management within the IT sector.
- PMP or Prince2 certification is strongly required.
- Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects or similar high-impact events.
- Expert knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA or similar project management tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture (AWS/Azure) and network security standards.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
