Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and fix issues that impact site performance and crawlability.
- Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including keyword research, content optimization, and link building campaigns.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on website traffic, ranking changes, and key performance indicators (KPIs) using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush.
- Collaborate with the web development team to improve site speed, mobile usability, and structured data implementation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithm updates and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
- Train and mentor junior marketing staff on SEO best practices and tools.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, preferably in a fast-paced agency or in-house environment.
- Deep understanding of Google’s Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide and algorithm updates (e.g., Penguin, Panda, Core Web Vitals).
- Proficiency in technical SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics 4.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to perform on-page optimization.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders.
