Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, organs, blood products, and sensitive equipment between hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols for time-sensitive deliveries
- Complete meticulous documentation and chain-of-custody paperwork
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time arrivals
- Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and DOT regulations for hazardous materials
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare facility staff
- Perform vehicle maintenance inspections and quality control checks
- Respond to emergency delivery requests with urgency and professionalism
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years medical courier or healthcare logistics experience
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification required
- Proficiency with electronic tracking and delivery management systems
