Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals via climate-controlled vehicles
- Maintain precise delivery schedules with GPS tracking and real-time communication
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and chain-of-custody documentation procedures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain clean, organized transport equipment
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for efficient pickup and delivery logistics
- Handle hazardous materials training and emergency response protocols
- Utilize specialized cold-chain equipment for temperature-sensitive shipments
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean record and CDL certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years medical courier or healthcare logistics experience
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens and HazMat certification required
