Responsibilities
- Safely transport temperature-sensitive medical specimens and materials using specialized equipment
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and chain-of-custody protocols for all deliveries
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure on-time arrivals
- Document all transfers with electronic manifests and condition reports
- Provide exceptional client communication during critical time-sensitive transports
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Train junior couriers on safety procedures and medical handling standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical courier or specialized transport experience
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean driving record
- Certification in biohazard handling and medical transport (preferred)
- Proficiency with electronic logging systems and temperature monitoring
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screening required
