Responsibilities
- Safely transport temperature-sensitive medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals using specialized equipment
- Maintain accurate chain-of-custody documentation for all high-value medical shipments
- Coordinate with hospital staff, research labs, and transplant centers for urgent deliveries
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain sterile transport conditions
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and DOT regulations for medical transport
- Operate GPS tracking systems for real-time delivery monitoring
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare partners during critical time-sensitive deliveries
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical courier or healthcare logistics experience
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficient in HIPAA compliance and sterile handling procedures
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate temperature-controlled units
- Strong time management skills with ability to handle emergency deliveries
- Background check and drug screen clearance required
