Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for strategic decision-making across 5 business verticals
- Present compelling futures narratives to executive stakeholders and board members
- Collaborate with R&D teams to accelerate innovation timelines for next-generation solutions
- Establish KPIs for tracking emerging technology adoption and market readiness
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global forums
- Mentor junior futurists and cross-functional teams on strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy leadership
- Proven track record of translating futures insights into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and emerging tech (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Experience with horizon scanning frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Demonstrated ability to influence C-suite decisions through data-driven foresight
- Portfolio of published strategic forecasts or futures research
