Responsibilities
- Develop proprietary trend-forecasting models for 2026+ market landscapes
- Lead client workshops identifying disruption vectors in AI, biotech, and climate tech
- Produce executive-level scenario reports with quantifiable risk/opportunity matrices
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (data scientists, industry experts, designers)
- Present strategic foresight findings at global industry forums
- Maintain Horizon's proprietary trend database with real-time signal analysis
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or futures research
- Proven experience delivering trend analysis to C-level executives
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ complex foresight projects
