Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual horizon-scanning reports on technological convergence, societal trends, and market disruptions through 2026
- Design and facilitate strategic foresight workshops for executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Identify and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, synthetic biology) for commercialization opportunities
- Create scenario-based roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion in 3-5 year horizons
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight insights into prototype development and pilot programs
- Lead external stakeholder engagement with futurist communities, academic institutions, and industry consortia
- Establish KPIs to track innovation pipeline velocity and strategic alignment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in corporate innovation, strategic foresight, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of developing actionable innovation roadmaps with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in emerging technology domains (AI, biotech, quantum, AR/VR)
- Exceptional facilitation skills with experience in C-level strategic planning sessions
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals (e.g., Futures Research Quarterly)
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning work and trend analysis deliverables
- Ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders
