Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead innovation workshops with engineering, product, and design teams to translate foresight into actionable product roadmaps
- Author quarterly strategic briefings for the board of directors on disruptive technologies and market disruptors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer next-gen R&D initiatives
- Design and implement a corporate foresight program measuring ROI of innovation investments
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry summmits
- Mentor junior futurists and build a world-class innovation analytics team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with proven impact on product roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced robotics
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, STEEP analysis, and cross-impact matrices
- Experience scaling innovation programs in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or relevant technical field
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences and investors
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ major product launches influenced by strategic foresight
