Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and evaluate disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Produce high-impact reports and visualizations communicating future implications to stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to align innovation pipelines with long-term market projections
- Establish early-warning systems for emerging risks and opportunities
- Mentor junior futurists and build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, trend analysis, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning methodologies and quantitative trend analysis
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) required
