Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications

- Secure $2M+ in research grants through compelling proposals and technical presentations
- Publish 4+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals like Nature Physics
- Mentor 3+ junior researchers while establishing quantum computing best practices
- Partner with hardware teams to prototype and validate quantum circuits on superconducting platforms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum simulation frameworks and cloud-based quantum services (IBM, AWS Braket)
