Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, space exploration, and sustainable systems
- Design and implement strategic foresight methodologies for C-suite stakeholders
- Author visionary whitepapers and thought leadership positioning Horizon as a future-shaping authority
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate foresight insights into innovation pipelines
- Manage relationships with academic institutions, government bodies, and industry consortia
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related quantitative/qualitative field
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future scenario frameworks
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and quantitative trend analysis tools
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating thought leadership in future-oriented publications or projects
- Experience working with C-suite executives in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
