In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex algorithmic trading strategies and scalable cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing microservices that can handle millions of transactions per second while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices architecture for Project 2026.
- Optimize database queries and backend logic to ensure sub-millisecond latency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists and security experts to implement real-time risk assessment engines.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Implement robust error handling and monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure system reliability.
- Drive technical decision-making regarding cloud infrastructure, containerization (Docker/K8s), and API design.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on backend development.
- Deep expertise in Python or Go, with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming.
- Proven experience building high-performance systems that handle massive concurrency.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and container orchestration.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Cassandra, or Redis).
