Role Overview
We are seeking an expert in deep learning and large-scale model optimization. You will lead a team of engineers and data scientists to push the boundaries of what is possible in AI safety and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Lead Research Directions: Define and execute the technical roadmap for our 2026 flagship AI product, focusing on generative adversarial networks and reinforcement learning.
- Model Development: Design, train, and fine-tune large-scale transformer models with a focus on efficiency and interpretability.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior researchers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and rigorous experimentation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to translate complex research into scalable, production-ready solutions.
- Publishing & Thought Leadership: Author and publish high-impact papers in top-tier AI conferences and journals to establish Nexus Horizons as an industry leader.
- Ethical AI: Ensure all models adhere to strict ethical guidelines and safety protocols regarding bias, privacy, and transparency.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in research roles within top-tier tech companies or academic institutions.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and modern deep learning frameworks.
- Domain Knowledge: Proven track record of publishing in venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, or ACL.
- Problem Solving: Ability to tackle complex, open-ended problems with novel algorithmic approaches.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
