Responsibilities
- Model Architecture & Development: Design, train, and fine-tune state-of-the-art Generative AI models, focusing on LLMs and multimodal agents.
- Research Strategy: Lead internal research initiatives to explore novel approaches in prompt engineering, reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), and chain-of-thought reasoning.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior researchers and engineers, conducting code reviews and establishing best practices for reproducibility and efficiency.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize model inference speed and reduce computational costs for real-time applications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product teams to translate complex research findings into scalable, user-friendly AI products.
- Publication & Thought Leadership: Author and publish papers in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL) to maintain our position as an industry leader.
- Ethical AI Governance: Implement safety protocols and bias mitigation strategies to ensure responsible AI deployment.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Deep Learning.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML research and development, with a proven track record of publishing high-impact research.
- Technical Skills: Extensive expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Deep understanding of Transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, and neural network optimization.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex, unstructured problems and derive innovative solutions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
