Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement scalable, high-performance AI inference engines capable of handling billions of requests with sub-millisecond latency.
- Model Optimization: Lead research and development into next-generation Transformer architectures, quantization techniques, and efficient memory management for edge deployment.
- Infrastructure Scaling: Oversee the deployment and management of massive GPU clusters using Kubernetes and distributed computing frameworks to support real-time learning.
- Safety & Ethics: Establish rigorous AI safety frameworks and governance protocols to ensure alignment and mitigate bias in autonomous systems.
- Technical Mentorship: Guide a team of top-tier ML engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Strategic Integration: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to seamlessly integrate advanced AI models into complex enterprise ecosystems.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with at least 4 years specifically in AI/ML architecture.
- Programming: Deep proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA. Experience with Rust or Go is a strong plus.
- System Design: Extensive experience designing and managing distributed systems, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Technical Depth: Proven track record of deploying and optimizing models serving millions of requests daily.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
