Responsibilities
- Operate school buses safely and efficiently on established routes.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during loading, unloading, and travel.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior.
- Communicate effectively with school officials, parents, and dispatchers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
- Clean driving record and insurable driving history.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact positively with children.
- Willingness to work early morning and afternoon shifts.
