Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Implement student management protocols ensuring orderly conduct
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and district safety policies
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Maintain accurate attendance and route documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver's License (Class B with P/S endorsement)
- Minimum 3 years driving experience
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate bus controls
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Commitment to student safety and punctuality
