Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students on designated routes before and after school hours
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain a positive, orderly environment on the bus
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and school district policies
- Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate attendance records
- Participate in ongoing safety and driver training programs
Qualifications
- Minimum age 21 with valid US driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and DOT physical
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Willingness to obtain CDL with passenger endorsement (paid training provided)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate mechanical controls
- Patience and dedication to student safety
- No prior experience necessary – we train from scratch!
