Job Overview
We are looking for reliable drivers to operate our fleet of school buses, ensuring students are transported safely and punctually to and from school.
Responsibilities
- Transport students to and from school and school-related activities in a safe and timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain order and discipline on the bus while ensuring student safety.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and school district policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents, dispatch, and school administrators regarding student needs and delays.
- Keep the bus interior clean and sanitary at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3-5 years).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact positively with children.
- Ability to lift and move equipment (e.g., wheelchair lifts) if required.
