Responsibilities
- Transport students to and from school and school activities in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and secure environment on the bus.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and school transportation regulations.
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and school administration.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus safely.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Pass a comprehensive background check, drug screening, and physical examination.
- Ability to pass a vision and hearing test.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills and patience when working with children.
