Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes following strict schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain clean buses
- Supervise student behavior and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adapt routes for field trips and special transportation needs
- Complete accurate incident reports and maintenance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (training provided)
- Minimum 21 years old with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and patience working with children
- Previous driving experience preferred but not required
