Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure student safety during loading/unloading
- Maintain discipline and positive interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and school policies
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Complete incident and maintenance reports
- Assist students with special needs as required
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- School Bus Endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clear background check and driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students
- Patience and strong communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children preferred
