Responsibilities
- Transport students safely to and from school and school-related activities.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe bus environment for all passengers.
- Ensure the safety and behavior of students while on board the bus.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, school district policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch.
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driverās License (CDL) Class B with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements required.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain physical stamina for the role.
