Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and on field trips
- Conduct daily pre/post-trip bus inspections
- Maintain a safe, positive environment for students
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and district policies
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Complete accurate trip logs and incident reports
- Assist students with boarding/exiting the bus
Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license
- Clean driving record (no major violations)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication skills
- Patience and child-friendly demeanor
- Basic mechanical knowledge (preferred)
