Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Manage student behavior with positive reinforcement techniques
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Complete daily route logs and incident reports accurately
- Attend mandatory safety training sessions
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience working with children or preferred customer service background
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Flexibility to work early morning/afternoon shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Willingness to obtain CDL-B with school bus endorsement (training provided)
