Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for timely product deliveries across designated Chicago routes
- Load/unload merchandise with precision using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for inventory tracking
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions and delivery confirmations
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adapt routes dynamically to avoid traffic and optimize delivery efficiency
- Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure seamless loading processes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience in urban environments
- Strong knowledge of Chicago metropolitan area roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate warehouse equipment safely
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills under pressure
- Proficient in using GPS navigation and delivery tracking software
