Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver goods on time and in perfect condition
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting all maintenance needs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Customer service experience with professional communication skills
- Willingness to travel between New York and Georgia routes
