Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to all traffic regulations
- Plan and optimize daily routes using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts to ensure roadworthiness
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes or delays
- Represent the company with professionalism and courtesy at all stops
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation tools
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
