Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to DOT regulations
- Efficiently manage daily routes using GPS technology for on-time deliveries
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch to optimize routes and resolve delivery issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Clean driving record (MVR verification required)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Omaha metro area
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
